Edwin Eugene Johnson Jr.,74 - Edwin E. Johnson Jr. of Whiting formerly of West Orange died on Thursday February 18, 2010 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Funeral Services will be held on Monday February 22, 2010 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street. Visiting will be Monday 2- 4 & 7-9 PM with the services at 8:30 PM. Mr. Johnson was born in Clarks Summit Pennsylvania and lived in Orange, West Orange and Tuckerton before moving to Whiting 10 years ago. He worked for Claremont Cadillac in West Caldwell for many years before retiring in 1988. Prior to that he worked for West Orange Auto, Wilman’s Auto Body in West Orange and French’s Chevrolet in Irvington. Mr. Johnson was the devoted father of Edwin III and his wife Ellen, and Pam Johnson. Cherished grandfather of Edwin IV, Douglas and Phillip.
